Hello!

Genie Tuck Jumps.

Diamond Jumps.

These are phrases that should make your insides twist up like a ball of serpents.

Shaun T uses these Power Moves to ratchet this routine into the rafters.

Insanity Max:30 Max out Cardio is a roller coaster ride of ‘Oh, I could do this move all day,’ and ‘Why, Shaun T, for the love of Monkeys, why?’

You’ll fee like you just solved a rubik’s cube or figured out how the internet really works when it’s all over–excited, proud and totally satisfied.  Good luck.  You got this.

Remember Max Out Cardio is just one of the workouts in the Insanity Max:30 program:

The Important Stuff about Max Out Cardio

There are four rounds of exercises in Insanity Max:30 Max Out Cardio.

In each round there are 3 exercises that you repeat 3 times for 30 seconds each.  After the 3rd repetition there’s a Power Move that you do for 1 minute and then you rest before the next round.

Max Out Cardio, more than some of the other Max:30 programs, reminds me of classic Insanity (another amazing Shaun T series by Beachbody).

If you do the Max:30 videos in a 2-month program, Max Out Cardio is one of the Month 2 workouts.

Make sure you read to the end for links to a few places you can compare prices for this video 🙂

Warm-Up

The format of the warm-up is the same as the main workout: 3 exercises you repeat three times through and the section finishes with a Power Move.

The warm-up is 5:30 minutes long and ends with a water break before you start the main workout.

Here are the warm-up exercises:

Med Ball Twist

1-2-3 soccer juggle

Don’t get mad if you can’t keep up with the team on this one…they go really fast

Hop Hop Runner

Hop hop runners are really fun for some reason

Power Move

Plank Jack with an Arm Raise to the Front (1 minute)

WATER BREAK

Main Workout (The Exercises in Max Out Cardio)

Round One

Remember you’ll go through these exercises for 3 sets before the power move.

1. Balance Kick Back (right)/(left)/(both sides on 3rd set)

2. Speed In & Out Abs

3. Low Plank Side Punches

Listen to Shaun T’s form pointers

Power Move

Genie Tuck Jumps (SO. HARD.)

You’ll do the power move with the group for about 30 seconds and then Shaun T orders you to go as fast as you can on your own.  Good luck!

WATER BREAK

You’ve been working out for about 11 minutes

Round Two

Here are the 3 moves that you’ll do about 30 seconds each and then repeat the list 2 more times before the Power Move:

1. Low/High Switch Kicks

Shaun T tells you when to switch from low to high

2. Plank to Squat

3. Moving Slap Back Jump

Power Move

8 punches and 2 diamond jump

I know what you’re thinking…not that damn diamond jump!  We all hate them.  But own it.  This is your workout today.  Don’t forget you’re a total badass.

WATER BREAK

Can you believe you’ve only been working out about 17 minutes??!  I know, you hate me so bad right now.  You’re over halfway!

Round Three

You know the pattern now.  Here are the exercises:

1. 10 & 2 punch

2. Floor Hops

Flashback to classic Insanity

3. Lunge Punch Kick-L/R/both legs 15 sec each on last round

Power Move

Basketball jumps/dribble

(I think this is the easiest power move in Max Out Cardio)

WATER BREAK

Only 6:30 minutes left!

Round Four

1. Oblique High Knee Jogs

2. Sprint/Jack

Shaun T prompts you which one to do.  Go as fast as you’re able at this point.

3. Pike-Up Oblique-Right/Left/Alternating sides on the last round

Power Move

High Jump Clap Under the Knee (these are fun but really hard, of course)

The Attack (last exercise)

Cool Down/Stretch

This part is only about 2 minutes long.  Never skip the stretch.  Your email isn’t going anywhere.
